i do not understand why no team will sign him..even to the league minimum..

I definitely believe he has 2-3 years left of at least playing 110-120 games per season and averaging 25 homers per year.

He's not even playing minor league ball. He's playing for the St Paul Saints (or one of those teams) in the independent league. To show how bad that is, that particular team expressed interest in me in 1998, when I was 31 years old.
