any more info? admission, is it an afterhours party?
Club Tru is an after hours club, they dont close till noon on Saturdays, and im pretty sure Fridays are no exception. regular cover is 15, but since this is a special event, i would expect it to be around 25-30 dollars. Its a perfect place to have JP spin....huge club, good sound system, and a freakin nuts crowd. This Halloween weekend is going to be out of control....

ok, just found out that Tru is not open until noon fridays, its more like 7 or 8. my bad guys!
and yeah, this is the first party of their halloween weekend. im sure people will be dressed. Check their website for directions, www.clubtru.com (its really cheesy, im warning you)

i am taking a break from SF so this will be a nice night for me. i want to hear jp out of sf anyway
talked to management this weekend....there could be special with hotel room and admission to the club if people are interested...they have a hotel connected to the club, which people go to throughout the night when you get tired and what not....no re-admission fee in AC...i know girls that go out to their cars 5 times a night and change outfits..very much a SF type dress code also...
this is going to be nuts..i know some people are going to be in costume, but it is not needed....they said they will stay open til 8am at the earliest...depending on the crowd, maybe later....if you haven't been to Tru it is a cool place and it will be 21+, they have a 24 hour liquor license which is clutch and the staff there is really nice....they also have a deck (if the weather is still somewhat nice)....
Supe, NJStacked, Mags....if you need more details let me know...the club is off martin luther king blvd...right up the street from Sands casino...we should definitely hang out that night...

You're out of your mind...if it's that easy to spin house music then it's twice as easy to spin trance...the bridge in trance tracks is so obvious it's foolproof, plus there are less vocals.
There is not much difference between progressive house and trance these days anyway...

Trance on the other hand develops moods and emotions, its always changing and very progressive, and while i bet you can find thousands of house songs that all sound alike, most trance songs are like people, very unique and, dare i say it, most of them have a soul. A house song is just a simple beat with some lame vocals and some kind of ambient noise to make it sound like music, trance is so much more its ridiculous. Oh yeah and lets not forget house evolved from disco and they both sound very similar, trance was a spin off of acid house and took its own form after xtc changed the party scene into what it is today. And im not talking trance you hear here, im talking good euro trance, what tiesto and van dyke and armin van buuren and others spin. If you want an example of some good trance mixes, check out tiesto live@gatecrasher the NEC 2002, or paul van dyke live@mayday 2002, or tiesto x-mix 2001, or sasha altered states. Damn i just realized i have too many mixes LOL, 196 at last count haha. Anyway i was just tryin to rile you guys up, always fun to start some controversey haha. But trance is the best, no doubt!

I think it will be a good time...If anything I always have alot of stories whenever I go down to AC...
I always hate the drive back the next day...It is usually ridiculously sunny and bright out and I feel like God is punishing me for being cracked out and doing bad things....he is burning my eyes with the sun as I drive up the Parkway...

NJStacked, my friend....you will be doing bad things this night for sure...with a 24 liquor license, you may not remember part of the night....the bouncers are really nice also, they are there mainly to make sure there isn't any fights...that is about it...with no hip hop this night and strictly JP heads there, there should be nothing but love in the air....
to answer your question, yes the shirt can come off, as a matter of fact when studio was just studio back in 98 and 99, as soon as we would open the doors the shirt would come off...it is so funny to say that now, but it was true....
AC isn't the best place on earth, especially when you live in north jersey or nyc....but this night will surely be off the hook, because we will take over this place....

tru is a good sized club....the upstairs is awesome now, there are comfy places to sit and watch people dance from above, as well as your token Champagne room. the downstairs is where its at tho....2 bars,a huge disco ball, blocks for dancing, and a big stage. that place is the BEST when its packed, you guys are gonna have a good time. This is unbelievable, jp at tru???? i havnt been there since the tru blue party.... I cant wait til the 25th!!!!I am 100% going....my buddy got a room comped at the taj mahal that night because he is a degenerate gambler.........anyway, that fri was the day he was gonna get married.....he called it off because he had second thoughts.....so were gonna get nutty and party like elvis....cant wait!

i drove 2 1/2 hours to see jp spin there, then he didnt even show up....... i heard it was cause of an earache too, i still had a good time anyway.
yeah....i and many others should be pretty pisssed off at JP now...he showed up in AC on thursday night after Albany...partied at studio til very early in the morning...party went til about 8am (which is the big gay party of the week there)...went to his hotel room at the Marina all tweaked out...called staff at 6pm on friday afternoon and told them he had a serious ear ache and would not be spinning....what a dick move for sure....
Clubhead...that sucks probablly as much as Eugenes....Richie Rydell did not come on until 3am...if you count the extra hour....We got there early...the place got packed but they were only playing rap and 80s shit. We spent 4 hours there and a shit load of money. We ended up leaving ...apparently he cam on for like 15 mins....I will never go back there again.
Stacked....that does suck.....we almost came up to Eugenes after being disapointed on friday night....thank God we didn't because i probably would have killed somebody having to hear $hitty hip hop all night waiting in anticipation for RR to come on....what is the deal with that...i thought he was the resident there....they basically cut their dick off because i'm sure a lot of people, like yourself and your crew, will never go back there again because of this stunt....

what a weekend. i think i've had enough of Studio and Tru to last me a really long time. i heard JP was a no-show on the way to Tru, and was pissed like everyone else, but made the best of it anyway since of lot of our friends showed up too. I had a pretty decent time there --- it was great meeting Supergirl and her man, next time we will meet on your turf--sound factory-- im pretty sure JP will show up there. studio and Tru 2 nites in a row totally killed me, 4 hours of sleep since Thursday, this girl is shutting it down completely....till saturday

i just have to say a huge THANK YOU to House Duchess and Clubhead who hooked me up to the max.. walked us in and got our covers comped.. got us drinks.. and i think introduced me to everyone in the damn place.. not to mention gave me a kick ass cd from her boy who DJ's in Boston to listen to for my 2 hour ride home... thanks you two!!!!
