John Edward's Wife Is Speaking. She is FAT

You really are a petty humanbeing.

Keep shooting the messenger, I've got thick skin, but as I asked strongsmartsexy:

Do you deny that packaging and marketing have an impact on the outcome of elections? Do you realize how much money is spent on hairdressers, wardrobe and makeup?

I am not poking fun of this accomplished woman.

She is a millionaire. She has access to the best nutrition, gyms and personal trainers that money can buy. She can hire folks to watch her kids. I know she tragically lost a child and that she had to be affected by that.

If Kerry/Edwards thought that they could step into the national spotlight and not be scrutinzed, they were mistaken.

Imus brought it up this morning. It will come up again.

I don't pretend to speak for the GOP. Just made an observation. Tipper may have struggled with weight, but this lady has a pot belly that is quite visible. In the high vis world of Presidential politics it will not go un-noticed.

Politicians parade thier families to get votes for being "regular" folks, so it invites scrutiny, like it or not.

All of you pretending to be holier than though are fooling yourselves. Folks notice. Doesn't mean it will influence many voters, but it is noteworthy.

Hell, I noticed it, but that doesn't mean it's going to influence my vote.

Much like Bush's daughters don't influence my vote.

I'm just baffled that anyone would even suggest that.

She was quite bad in an interview with Dan Rather last night.
Not smooth and all gigglie and could not seem to get her thoughts out

Lets hope she was just nervous

He was voted some magazines most sexiest man alive..
I see another Monica episode.

I don't mind baffling. :)

It may not influence your vote, and probably won't influence most voters, but she will be on stage tonight after Sen Kerry speaks, when Kerry and Edwards are raising clasped hands and balloons are released.

People will notice that her belly hangs over her belt, unless she is wearing a very large dress.

Watch.

No one thinks that an individuals Spouse is a BIT of a reflection on the person ??

Not the whole person mind you.. but still...

Well, I was not referring to the fat comments..

I think that we usually choose a mate that fits our style, ethics and beliefs..
My comment was on the interview with Mrs Edwards and others I've seen with her acting a bit like a ding a ling. Asked a serious question on a national interview and she
makes it like shes at a tupperware party with the ladies..
She seemed to be a ditz, not in a nervous way but just in general.
Made some silly comments about cheney and when Dan asked for clarification she started giggling again..

Not judging a book by her cover, just making a comment on my first impressions and how I think that having a spouse that is WAY outside of your realm of who you are
or who you propose or want to be is a bit strange to me..

Maybe its just the fact that most of us want to punch holes in the 1st or 2nd lady.

A legitimate observation, and one that many made in 2000. Cheney beat those odds. Some have suggested that Bush get a new VP this time, but I don't think he will.

Bush stated last time that he wasn't looking for a VP to help him get elected, he felt he could do that on his own merits. He instead wanted a VP, a COO, who would help him govern effectively.

It worked.

If Chimpy McCokespoon wasn't completely delusional in his little Nero Complex cacoon, he would force Colin Powell into the job.

A Bush/Powell ticket would be unbeatable. Period.

Let's hope that Powell's morals keep him on his present course.

A ha...I haven't seen enough of her interviews to have a real opinion, but you're right. Her apparent level of intelligence could have an impact.

Wives definitely have an impact...I seem to remember some being concerned about Tipper Gore being the anti-music bitch, and how that would impact Clinton/Gore.
