Lets leave the wives and kids out of this stuff

It sickens me the way each side tries to drag them into these things

You almost have to eb a sadistic bastard, with no regard for your family, to run for high office these days
No regard for yourself either.

High powered politics is a vicious world beyond belief.

I know these things.

So....Republicans vote based on fatness.

Got it.
Yea.....the bf of the VP's wife no less.

I have never dreamt of such desparation or foolishness.

Amore serious concern for the GOP. Would Cheney's health last 4 more years? Highly questionable.

this is a new low....

Bro, you said it. Anyway, Barbara Bush looked like a bathtub of lard. Not mention her face had more wrinkles than a French Fry.

I don't pretend to speak for the GOP. Just made an observation. Tipper may have struggled with weight, but this lady has a pot belly that is quite visible. In the high vis world of Presidential politics it will not go un-noticed.

Politicians parade thier families to get votes for being "regular" folks, so it invites scrutiny, like it or not.

All of you pretending to be holier than though are fooling yourselves. Folks notice. Doesn't mean it will influence many voters, but it is noteworthy.

I'd do Tipper.

This is a fair observation. I can't remember the last fat first lady or "vice" lady. Barbara Bush was large, but not really fat, and she was elderly anyway. Will this hurt the ticket? Maybe not. Ironic, considering John Edwards is such a pretty boy.

Well, as usual, a right wing extremist concentrating on the important issues in the presidential race.

Do you deny that marketing and packaging plays a role in today's Presidential politics?
