Joe Millionaire?

This fucking show is on again tonight and my wife is having an orgasm over it! I told her its all fake but she does not care. How in the fuck does shows like this get such high ratings????
 
Hell yeah, Joe Millionaire!! I think this is real. The women act as they do in real life and just want the man's green. Who can blame them, though because everyone wants green.
 
Joe dirt had more class..I guess,haven't watched the millionaire show,but the setting alone means the guy must be a dipshit
 
A close friend of mine's brother in law went to a military academy with him, and then spent a summer in Europe with him.

He really is that dumb, he is not an actor. He really does only make about 19k a year, but his parents are comfortably well off so he doesn't have to really work. I guess he just does it so he doesn't mooch of his parents or something.

The guy lived in the same city as my cousins, best friends, sisters, grandmother's brother in law.

I heard some idea spins for Joe Millionaire 2. First one was the only times that the girls can go on their "dates" is when they're on their period. Then we'd get to see which emotion overtakes them...their greed or that nawty nawty PMS. Next one is to make the gardener or groundskeeper the millionaire and watch him flirt with some of the girls and see which ones are nice to him. Then two days before the show's over, tell the girls that he's the real millionaire and watch their attitudes change.

She is ugly and annoying. The whole swimsuit things is also annoying. I think she has the best chance of getting picked just because Joe thinks she is the least likely to dump him when finding out he makes 19 g's a year. She is a lowly substitute teacher that looks trashy.

You may very well be right, but I'm just predicting you who will win. (They kind of gave it away - the blond is picking up on what he doesn't know, the little sister comment and the whole *psychic* comment was a dead give away.)

Actually the whole show concept is annoying and I'm embarrassed to admit to that I actually watched it last night.

The one that was dropped (Melissa?) was the best of the lot in an all around sort of way. IMO
 
Was Melissa who they were calling Mojo? I thought she was okay until she whipped out that photo album and it had a million dollar check made out to herself. The picture puzzle was kind of cool. None of the others went out of their way at least to do something for him; they are all there for the money anyway.

I don't see Zora as being trashy looking. She kind of looks like she could be related to the dark headed girl on Sex and the City. But then I have always liked brunettes so so much for that. I agree, that line about being shy in a bathing suit is bogus, especially since she wore that revealing dress on the date. This isn't the 14th century, no need to be all freaked out.

that's exactly the point. nobody makes 19K a year. Lemonade stands make more than 19k a year.

Also, my buddy knows this dope from when he lived in VA Beach. He was stupid then, and he's stupid now. He himself probably doesn't have a million dollars, but his folks sure do. He comes from money.
 
I've said from the begining that something isn't right with this show. Either it's scripted, or there is an aditional twist we don't know about.

That zora chick also freaks me out. Her dream leds me to belive that she is either in on it, or there is something else going on.
 
Yes I laughed at that when I seen it. Heavy Eqipment operators around here make atleast 35,000 - $40,000

According to stats put up by skywalker & supernav, only 1/2 the wage making population (90 million out of 180 million americans) makes over 26k a year. only 10% of the wage earning population (18 million) makes over 80k a year. And we are one of the richest countries on the earth.

Who do you think works at every BP, marathon, Kmart, McDonalds, burger king, Kroger, Nordstroms and virtually every other service job out there? people who make under $7 an hour (14k a year).

Whats this 'everyone makes at least 40k a year' shit some of you on elite have? have you looked at statistics lately? The average incomes are still

8k a year w/o high school education
20k a year with high school
40k a year with 4 years of college
