Job help!

Hey guys... I need some help getting a job... can any of you help me? It's freeking ludicrus (rapper) up here... the unemployment rate for my graduating class is 70%!!! Also, for every job posting that is put up, there are over 500-600 resumes sent in... not a high probabilty to get noticed.

The only way I'm going to get a job is to network and find someone I know who can get me a job somewhere, I'm sure of it. If any of you know someone in the Windy City, that's right, Chicago... who can help me out pursuing a job as a lawyer, I would appreciate it alot. My main area of specialization is Intellectual Property (Trademarks, copyrights, patents)... but I can also do any sort of transactional law... litigation, isn't really my bag...

I am a lawyer, licensed to practice in IL and the N.D.of Illinois federal court.

No luck... all jobs want 3-5 years experience... how the hell am I going to get this so called experience?

hey man, if you are interested in DC (I know not Chicago), then I can point you to a very good firm that I interned at - someone in my family is one of the partners there. they are considered the best, or were in '95 when I was there.
and I have a friend in SF at a law firm...
but I don't know Chicago - best of luck!
