Why is it that if you hand in a resume........ and then fill in a application, you have to fill in the same information that is on your resume !!!

why can't you put "see resume" on your application when there is stuff you have to fill out on job applications that is on your resume (like previous experience etc)

they do this to drive you nuts I presume............

I hate apps too. I've got terrible handwritting and I'm always all the more nervous when I think about my handwriting and end up writing even sloppier. And I always make at least one mistake, try to change it, then realize it looks even worse now and end up hoping they don't notice.

My job process:

write an html resume
post it on the university server
click 'apply' for any job that looks desirable
get the interview

After undergrad I plan on professional school, hopefully I don't have to feel the pain of job hunting (happens, but so do offers or you can be your own boss).
