JOB: Anyone Ever Have a Crowd Control/Security Job?

well i think i landed this job.

its not so much security, but more like crowd control for large concerts, sporting events, fairs, where ever a large crowd is involved.

anyone ever have one of these jobs? what can i expect?

depends on where they put you. i did it once for a summer for kicks. if you work in front of the stage then keep your eyes open and ready to catch somebody or somebody is going to do a face plant. i saw some kid do a face plant into a rail and bust up his nose. if you are working where the band is going to be then get ready to hear every excuse in the book, including how they are the cousin of so and so's. the chicks don't listen. most of them are stupid in the head. if there is a punk causing problems get to him quick before it gets big. there is a lot more, but it's a pretty cool job, nothing to make a career out of though.
