I think he would be a great mod! He's always had a postive attitude on these forums and is cool about helping others. He spends more time on the diet board than anyone I have seen in the short time I've been active on these boards. I might add he seems to be well respected also. For these reasons, and more, I will vote for Kurz in this poll. The question is, will he accept it?
 
he is great bro but really no mods are needed in diet forum

mods are needed to get rid of problems but this forum doesnt have any bad bugs :)

I know what you mean tigger. There's not much to do in terms of moderating this forum. But, it would be good for newbs who strole across here. Someone to go to for advice. :)

You care to ask the questions and your results will blossom. Thanks again and K to all....To All - I know I would like to see whom I'm dealing with when taking adivce of ANY kind......although many of the best coaches, gurus, experts in a lot of fields are actually horrible at what they do. I mean look how many NFL, NBA, etc. coaches are out there, whose knowledge is FAR suprerior to any player, has never actually put on the pads or gear. However, in this field, that is USUALLY not the case. I swear to you, that as soon as I get a decent digital camers (camera phone I have is a joke, tried it many times) I will post it immidiately. For now, please just take my word, as that is one thing I would never bullshit about. I feel trust to be number one in anything and everything that I do. I am 6'2 and 188 at this very second (ok, 45 minutes ago in the gym)........I last had my bodyfat test via hydro. 2 weeks ago and was hoovering around 7% (5.5 with calipers)..........I get like this every summer for 2 reasons. One, it's hard for me to eat nutrient dense foods when the temperatures are 80+ degrees, and TWO, much of my free time is spent outside, doing a variety of things. So, right now, I'm in pretty rare form. My bench is around 315 for a couiple, my squat is about 405 and I can run a 5.5 minutes mile. Nothing to brag about by any means. Just want to give you an idea. I've been as high as 235, 2 winters ago and about 11-12% bf. Not sure where I;m going to take it shortly, but I do know I feel better with more mass.........

My objectives have and always will be to do as much reading and research as I can to stay on top of this game. I know what works for ME and a few others that I've assisted. One of my prouder moments occured last fall. A fellow gym rat who is 45 years old, WON the EAS transformation contest under my wing and guidance. Some may chuckle at that, but to see his transformation and see tat check for $10gs come rolling in, almost brought a tear to my eye. You can check him out at www.eas.com (think)....Mark Beaton is his name. I'll see if I can use him as a reference.

Sure, I have a lot to learn, and that's why I'm always asking questions and many have helped me out greatly (SC - thanks bro). That's the key. Never stop learning!!!!!

Would like to know a little background on your education and specific training in the diet and excersize feilds if applicable. I myself have been in an excersize science program for some time now and am curious what else others are involved in.
 
He obviously works hard and knows exactly what he is doing! Read some of his posts - he has given excellent advice. He seems very disciplined and dedicated.

What the hell is this, trouble reading? In the pm i sent you...i said i had a very similar build to Lee, not that i was bigger than Lee. For me to get bigger than Lee i would have to get paid to train and turn pro, which isnt happening.

I think knowledge is far more important then the practice. I'm not saying that cause I'm not close in the best shape of my life, but I work a hard job and a live in 2 places. I'm a private and government IT consultant. I simply do not have 4 hours a day to live in a gym as I did when had no off work responsibilities.

Having said this the person with the knowldge and good solid advise is what is needed.

Big Man, I think you are in great shape but I think you're lacking in alot of areas as can be easily read by the question you post about yourself. You also flip flop alot on some issues such as protein bars. You used to swear by these things and now you understand they are mostly fat and carbohydrate bars with low quality protein such as soy protein.

Anyway , if there is a need for another mod , let's take this to the moderator forum

In his defense Jkurz1 comes up with some hard core diets.
Mine are generally low to very low carb where as his have more carbs and less fats.

His diets are more geared to performance athletes whereas mine are more geared to normal folks losing weight (which would be most folks on here)

He has some really good idea and is generally the only person I've seen post a whole diet with a medium to large variety of foods like the one he posted today.
