I've always liked ephedrine HCl, but it's ELEVEN DOLLARS for 24 tabs now!! God damn, I remember when 60-count bottles were five or six bucks, and they made those huge 100-count bottles.

Crap, my tube of lido is at home.

I honestly don't know much about the -caine drugs. I know lidocaine is Rx'd as topical only. I recall putting it on a rather large wound, and there was no 'buzz'... I think it was only 2%, too. I doubt it binds to the right receptors in the body, and at 2%, there's crap in there that would likely make one sick. Finding out the remaining 98% would make an extraction for insulfation or injection difficult.

I don't think lidocaine is scheduled, which would imply that it has no potential for abuse. I think if there was potential for rec use, I would've seen it on Bluelight over the past several years.

GD would probably know the pharmacokinetics of the -caine drugs and could give a more educated answer. I'm leaning heavily on 'no', though.
