The league of job we are talking about here is a joke for all intents and purposes. As an example - Brinks Home Security sales. She just has no clue what it takes to make it in the real world - as daddy had her sheltered with a great job in terms of pay with little to no responsibility.
She went back to dating this guy that apparently has a load of money, but I am not sure how that's going to help her - she still lives at her Moms place. And I'll be damned if my daughter will be staying with said b/f - she's required to be supervised by mom when our daughter is around anyway.
On top of this, she just failed a drug test she took in the begining of November.

The other day she started sending me these nasty text messages - turns out she didn't think it was fair that I went to Vegas.
That I do not understand.
1. I can do whatever I want, my life is not hers.
2. She has been going out partying her ass of for the last year in STL, while other peeps watched her daughter.

Yeah - 30 or 90 inpatient has to be her next step. The thing is, she doesn't have insurance anymore. That coverage was lost 11/15. I'd guess her dad would pay for it if it came down to it. He's been to several himself for coke back in the day, and recently twice for alcohol.
I still have a huge issue with this shit - it pisses me off that I am paying her child support and shes out running around using drugs. Fuck that eats at me.

I do have full custody. SHe has 'supervised visitation' and in order for her to be able to have her for her visitation periods she requires money. With the goal being that the supervision requirement goes away when she passes enough drug tests.
So then it woudl be like 50/50 - but I still have the ultimate legal authority with me being designated as the sole custodian.

Sure I could have forced her to pay me during what I had hoped would be a transistional period, but then when that transistion was over and it was just normal 50/50 time split without supervision - we would have had to go back to court to adjust the support amounts in favor of her.
1) Go Back To Court
2) Lawyer Up - Cha Ching - More Money Gone
3) Fight over Money Amounts
4) Amount I pay someone when they are on drugs, is likely less than judge will award her if she walks in clean. I am talking probably double the amount.
5) Possibly get into a battle over me being the sole custodian.
There is alot of potential there, I was better off doing what I did.
If she sinks her ship, then I am going to go back and reduce her visitation and get support from her - but at least I can say I tried and they will be lest likely to reverse it for her at that point since it will have been clear that I did everything in my power to make her a part of our daughters life.

More importantly - if she fails a few more, I think I will have what I need to go back and reduce her time to like every other weekend - and stop having to pay her money that she goes and wastes on drugs.
That's not what I want, but if she isn't going to get and stay clean - I'd rather get this over with sooner than later.

is she really a junkie or just a party gal? there is a difference...lotsa people at that age are whooping it up on the weekends with drugs.
most outgrow the phase and resume a normal life...some never pull out.
whattaya think is the case with her?

Well, all external appearances say party gal. She seemingly has her self put together, always looks nice - had a nice job, a nice house, a daughter that seems to be thriving, etc.
That's why it's so deadly for her though. Everyone supports her because it doesn't seem like she has a real issue.
However.
When you fail a court ordered drug test - that's not a good indication, but when you are ordered to take another in 3 months - knowing that this second test - your second chance - will determine your custody with your 2 year old daughter - and you go out and use anyway and fail that second test - well, that's shows you have no control over your use of the drugs IMHO. Clearly there's a problem, an addiction.
She has failed 4 drug tests now.
And those out side appearances? I lived with her for 4 years, I saw what went on behind the scenes - I was the only one that saw past the facade and that's why I tried to get her to get help. Besides - everything that allows her to maintain the facade was handed to her - the job, the house, everyone else is caring for her daughter, etc. The job and the house are gone now.
