A math professor at my university tried to tell the class that "Experts" estimate that Jesus Christ had an IQ of over 200.

How could this be estimated?

Also, does anyone think that high IQ's have a high relation to insanity? Or is it evenly spread thoughout the IQ range?

For the sake of our conversation of iq, we are talking of what we all know to be true. Jesus was a man that roamed the earth, and you must evaluate his iq on things he did while he was here. I love it when people say this. They think that they are independent and free-thinking and enlightened because they don't choose to worship God, but they are "morally good."

If you don't believe in God and he doesn't exist tha basically you were able to live life how you wanted.

First off, i can't just "believe" something. I can't just make a choice and believe without a thought because of this little thing called LOGIC. Someone mentioned it before...

Secondly, I think Kant was wrong in that if someone does believe in a God than he may not necassarily suffer eternal damnation in the fire and brimstone of hell. That is a veey flawed narrow assumption. Assuming that one cannot know the scope of God's intelligence, wisdom, etc. we cannot say whether his belief or disbelief will send on to heaven or hell.

Why can't people realize that our limited human minds cannot find the answer to the age old question of whether God exists or not...

This is where my fire stems from on this topic. In my eyes, anyone that claims that they know the "right" path or the right way is just ignoring the facts. I am sorry that i have been harsh but this is the way i feel. People have to look at both sides.
