He started taking the piss on a thread I made about a fire starting in my house and destroying pretty much everything I own. The only reason I can see for this is because I didn't continue messaging him one day and didn't want to talk to him over msn.

Shall I make a thread about how someone in my family died the other day so you can have a joke about that too? Or would that be too far for you?

Umm how is that a self pity reply? Someone asked a question, I answered, surely that's just polite. You keep saying about how things show insecurity but you never actually justify why, do you actually know what the word means and are you clever enough to use it properly?
