I thought "Jeepers Creepers" was pretty good actually. And as Jason flicks go, "Jason X" wasn't all that terrible either. I went on a horror-flick renting binge last week, and rented "Halloween: Resurrection", "Evil Dead", and "Rose Red". The Evil Dead was easily, the dumbest movie in the history of moving friggin pictures. You can tell it was made just to get publicity in "Fangoria" magazine, because it was nothing but alot of screaming, and cheeseball special effects. "Resurrection" sucked, but was made twice as bad because of Busta Rhymes playing the homeboy, toughguy role. I hate that bling-bling'in, hip-hopper attitude shit! Cut his head off Mike! "Rose Red" was a 4-hour movie, that could've easlily been cut down to 2 & 1/2, but was pretty good, as haunted house movies go.
With the low-grade dogfood horror flicks that Hollywood cranks out these days, you have to take what you can get I suppose. I havn't seen anything really suspensefull in awhile.
