I have wireless also. One running upstairs and one downstairs. Sometimes they drop the signal but usually I can just unplug the router and plug it back in and it picks it up again.

Anyone else have that problem or knows what causes it?

That happens when your wired or not...dunno what causes it, but a deep cycle power off, seems to do the trick every time.

Yep. Happened to me with a Linksys that was getting a little old; I replaced it and the problem went away. Bet it's going to quit on you completely one of these days -- you may as well replace it and enjoy the dependability of a new 11.g rather than putting it off until it dies.

Damn...all my stuff is Linksys...but it's the G SRX 200. Hopefully that will last awhile.

Yea, I have a linksys alright. It will drop the signal about once or twice a month sometimes it will go two months.

What is a good router in the 11.g? Would another Linksys be ok?

I have a Netgear router, it has been on 24/7 for the last 6+ months (reset once due to DSL outage), no signal drop yet.
