I've spent the last hour or so

I've spent the last hour or so reading some of the information here regarding training and I must say I am a bit overwhelmed! There is quite a wealth of information around here and I am interested in reading more. I get the idea that my method of training isn't as good as I think it is. Maybe the fact that I have gained very small amounts of strength and weight in the last year should be a wakeup call for me to get my butt in gear and try some real training. The problem is that I made pretty good progress for my first 2.5 years of training doing the same thing -- i'm not sure what happened after that but it all stopped working.

Now back to the overwhelmingness. Going to flip through some more journals and see what they say.

i spent months reading through many threads (old and new) before ever making a post, and there is still so much to read!! keep it up and you will be well on your way to gaining the knowledge you need to build your physique.

I can imagine some of these threads take months to read hahaha. I spent most of my time looking at one single journal! And I didn't even understand a lot of what it said!

If you find that what you were doing no longer seems to produce results maybe look at your diet, as you get bigger you need to eat more in order to continue gaining size so if you havn't increased your calories that could be your problem.

Damn nice links, AnotherButters. You know the line: you must spread some Karma around...

36drew, if you'd like, give us some background and history on your experience, and there are lots of people here willing to help out.

If you've been doing the same routine for 2.5 years, that's most likely your problem. Try some new routines. 5x5 was awesome for me when I tried it. I've heard awesome things about DC training. Do you traing for strength, size, or both?
