Ive got the strength, but now, how do I lift for size/

if your training is working for you strength-wise, and you keep going up in weight, then the problem might be your diet. eat and eat and eat and eat...then eat some more. Post up your current routine and stats

lifting for size is very diff than lifting for strength-- ask any powerlifter- theyre not doing the same sets/reps as bodybuilders.

Im 177 now, I have regained much of the muscle I lost on a stupid low calorie diet I went on this summer. Im up over 20 pounds. I gain weight and size at a good rate, but I know I am stronger than my size. I eat about 50/30/20 split. I am way stronger than many of my friends that are way bigger than me. I do 5x5 with 255. I eat at least 3200 calories a day. Gaining weight is not the problem, but i was just wondering if there is a difffernce between gaining size and gaining strength.

My new lifting routine is 2 working sets per exersize. The first one is about 6reps failure, and the second set is about 10 reps to failure. I think this will get me both strong and big. Should I increase volume?

Totally forgot to type 'bench press', sorry. But anyways, what do you guys think is the optimal number of reps per set for muscle growth, rather than strenght.
