I must confess that it was I who bumped a age old thread in the pictures of women section. I thought with something like that it would be ok. But now I truly realize that not only shouldn't I bump a old thread in Chat & Conversations but anywhere on Elite PERIOD. We'll Digger you finally convinced me with BOLD words and told me like it is your style that is. I'm sorry to get you all mad and it won't happen again In any section of EliteFitness. If I want an old thread from now on maybe it's best to write it down and post it all over again fresh. Don't want the Digger madder because if it happens again friends i'm finished here at Elite for good! And that my friends ain't cool at all in my book. I know some of you would be thrilled to see me go but I know others wouldn't want it that way. I'll rather please the latter.

I was looking at an old thead today. The ones by AMAF and OUO should be required reading for all. Especially the one about closing a vail. And there is another classic about cycling bulls balls.

Funny stuff.

What is the cut off date for old threads.....like around a year or so?
 
I used to bump a thread or two in the aas board from back in the day when we talked prices. It always amused me when people jumped all over the poster about posting the prices and couldnt believe anyone was talking about price and then they would realize it was from 2002.LOL

It's about hijacking the entire front page, turning Chat into an involuntary RSS feed for dumpalink.

BUT, I don't have one problem with bumping an old thread that you actually have a say on. What, would you rather I just start a new one and take up more space?

he bumped many, many, old threads in POW with two word answers like "real nice!". Most of which were dead anyway, blatant post whoring and pissed a load of ppl off.

The bumped threads at twenty per day he doesnt do as much now, then he went through a phase of creating one dumbass thread after another. Then he moved onto somedays just making dumpalink threads. Now, he could have made one video thread and put all of his dumpalink links on it. But, nooooooo, everyone had to have their own thread.

See the picture, if its not one thing its another. Perhaps you were gone when his threads would take over a third of the front page.
Here is a screenshot from awhile back on his antics that I posted before. Notice the quality thread topics

Since then, he moved onto trying to 'tweak' everyone with karma threads and other shit. Just ask yourself what his motivation is for doing all of this crap?

This admin is concerned about someone who gives every indication of needing structure, badly, and is being egged on to act out instead.

I'm also concerned that libertarian idealists are encouraging a certain member to act out and push boundaries, which is arguably the worst thing you could do to him given his specific issues.

This isn't about bumping old threads. This is about whether someone can learn enough social skills to keep being a member or not. Do you want to help him or are you going to keep trying to score debate points?

You think you are encouraging him to experiment, but given his history, you're only encouraging him to get banned. The "tell us the rules" jive above is a red herring.

Maybe there should be a site where he could go to learn social skills, but this isn't it. This isn't Wal*Mart -- we don't have a program to hire the disadvantaged as "greeters."

I actually was the first one to tell him to post all vid links in one single thread. He said OK. Of course we know what that means and how long.

Swole,I,redguru,sawastea and others now host events over there without problems and a Mod

My take on cb .....

- He can be quite creative and clever, but not consistantly so.
- He needs to explore boundaries and find limits. Once found, he tries to adhere, but fails, having literally forgotten the limit.
- He is genuinely remorseful when having done wrong, but does not learn from the experience.
- He gets bored and needs to post to break the feeling. This accounts for the meaningless posting and replies.
- He has amazing anger control. I have not seen him attack or retaliate when made the butt of incredibly genuis ridicule.
- He is respectful of authority.

In summary ... He either has a leaning and reasoning defeciency OR is one of the most clever gamesman to hit this site. (88 replies and still counting over a "penis".)

Either way ... I'd keep this Member, knowing that Admin will have to patiently, if not lovingly, keep him in bounds ... and out of Michigan. :)
