Great choice. Dont buy a Neon... EVER. The engines may pull but they have shitty craftsmanship. Like all modern day American cars, no offense to anyone who owns a new American car. I would also consider the WRX and a early model civic (92-99) and turbo charge it, for about 6k you can get shave off 2 or more seconds on the Civic's acceleration time (depending on level of boost, and other mods asides from the turbocharger).

Way out of his price range. He's thinking low 20's your talking mid to low 30's. If he's spending that might as well move up to the big dog '04 cobra change a pulley and hit 400rwhp.

Just picked up my '03 Civic Coupe yesterday. I highly suggest it over the price of the Acura, especially since Honda is having their clearence right now.

well like I said I contemplated the civic, but the comparisons in power between the RSX and the Civic show me that the RSX is a lot more powerful under the hood for only 4 grand more. Keep in mind I'm not into getting this amazingly fast car, because I'm not some gay ass teenie bopper who thinks street racing is cool and think's he lives his life inside a Fast and the Furious movie. But I at least want SOME power. Plus I do not wanna be tossed into that grouping of "16 year olds with Civics", cause it seems a good portion of the modded cars aruond here are all Civics belonging to kids.

nice car but the new SRT Dodge is badass, well for a neon.

check out the specs ...

American cars blow, and Dodge/chyrsler are the worst of the worst.

I speak from experience - I had one and vowed never to get one again.
