I've discovered Tequila

I am not a drinker, but like a wine or vodka here and there, but two weeks ago, I was at a St Pat's party and someone handed me a shot of tequila and I refused it because I heard it can make you feel "odd"
Anyway, took the shot, then one more and I have never felt more relaxed in my life.
Got a bottle and had a few shots last night...then my clothes came off on a second date....thanks tequila!

I thought RE: jon79 was going to be this...smellin like R-Kelly's sheets...piiiiiiiiiiiissssssssssssss! But yes tequila does make your cloths fall off...still want pics of your sexy ass.

 
i only drink patron silver on the rocks... occasionally a pineapple juice mixer... some like it with pickle juice, yes, pickle juice..
today the spanish broad at the store told me to try a cucaracha, ita ameretto and tequila, lit on fire with a straw in it and u blow it out and drink the shot thru a straw... yup, thats 1 way to have 5 kids and no daddy at home
 
Nan, the flavour grosses me out too, so I suck the lime before and after....and lots of salt!

as for tequila,I am a snob and only do the shots if it comes out of the machine that chills it. If I have a tequila night I am usually wrecked for days
 
No,some bars actually have a machine that dispenses ive cold patron,Whole new world of shots when it is that cold,less bite.

Not talking shit but the older I get the harder it is to get rid of them.
 
I am on 28. So I do recover fairly fast and for me a good handful of multis and lots of water do the trick. I cant speak for those who are older.

Last time I drank tequila I woke up with broken toes, two toenails missing, a concussion, a hole in the drywall across the hall from my bedroom door, blood all over the floor where I kicked the coffee table en route to the pisser, and a black eye from falling and putting my face/head through the wall.

Good times. Shit like that is why I quit drinking.

yeah he is. He's got a unique sound, not really fitted for what he's shooting for but he is a hell of a performer and songwriter

We try and refrain from that area until it cools the fuck off. We played an outdoor show on the blacktop at Texas Heatwave at the Travis County Expo Center. FUCK that shit, never ever falling for that again. We will probably be heading to San Marcos/New Braunfels for some river fun though. At least the Comal and Guadalupe are cold.

No, well I also had 3 glasses of white wine, but wine doesn't have an effect on me, but since I rarely drink alcohol, so 3 shots of booze relaxes me enough to have sexy time.

Gin, Vodka, Tequila(sometimes), Triple Sec, Sweet n' Sour and Coke.

Martinis are actually traditionally gin unless you ask for a vodka martini.

Yes. I forgot the "gin". My phone kept correcting it to him when I type it. Apparently I gave up on the word entirely. Ha

And no. I've had gin once in my life. I was sick enough to swear it off the rest of my life. :)

Ahhh that's too bad. I love gin. It and tequila are my two favorite liquors. Especially love gimlets that have cucumber, or elderflower, or some other earthy note.
 
I still like rum the best because it's predictable but tequila can be a really fun drunk. It can also be the kind of drunk where you are crying, sobbing, because you lost a hat...and the tequila made you suddenly really attached to the hat... so careful blue ;-)

I was 18, in Florida with my parents and had my first ever Long Island Ice Tea...one was enough

I have low tolerance for booze, so I'm ok! I've been drunk a total of maybe 3 x my entire life.
But really, 2-3 shots causes extreme relaxation ;-)
