all on the supply management side of things

all good paying (for me $40k w/car) and with many promo opps
i put my resume together and it actually likes pretty fuggin good.
i think the key is my followup. I always follow up after every contact
I make, even if they aren't receptive to my game.
i never knew it would be this easy, it never was in the past w/no experience

You can make an assload of money is sales.

There's more peeps who earn 6 figures in the U.S. than any other profession including medicine and law.

Approx. 65% of CEO's in the U.S. came from the sales ranks.

what does these jobs entail? what will you actually be doing?

BTW - Sales jobs do fucking rock.

I went to lunch today and had a meal that cost 60-70 for myself... had 3 others with me. Paid for by the company. I do that 4/5 days a week... bout twice a week I have a happy hour, and once a week a dinner, every two weeks or so - some 'Event' like a ballgame or what not. Living mad on the company dime, and they want me too!

It's like I make double what I actually do.

This is sooooo true. Company I work for takes such good care of the sales staff. Send all the ladies out to a nice lunch on them once every two weeks, trivia/drinks every thursday night, cater meals in all the time....you should see the plethora of junk food they house. :p

You guys must not be speaking of insurance sales then. I tried being an agent (100% commission pay) and it lasted two days...one day of cold calling and another in the "field". I quit the next day. It was the only "job" I outright quit.

nothing at all like that
job titles are purchasing and supply

sale jobs sound pretty darn risky. im sure they pay well, but id hate to risk those downtimes where im going through those months where im starving, and keeping the heat turned down to 40 deg :worried:

Ok I understand those. My dad deals with salesmen a lot, mostly in between rounds of golf.

Lots of sales jobs have a base pay + commission.

The company I work for pays our sales team $25,000/yr base (shit, I know) and then 10% of what they sell over $10,000 each month.

Point is, you won't be 'starving' because you had a bad month. Have a couple bad months in a row, then they'll put you on straight commissions until you figure your shit out. That's when I would outright quit.
