That is great to hear. My best friends my only age happened to be black. We did everything together b/c they were the only kids my age. Antonio and Howard who were adopted and I never knew of racism. My parents never taught me it and I never ever knew of the difference until I was prolly 15 that there was a huge issue over race. To this day, I am more comfortable around black people.
When I was in a party situation or just an educational setting and sports. I was more apt to converse with black people first. I didnt like the white clicques that I saw forming and having moved around ALOT. I always found a smile and comfort with a black person.
That has never ever really left me. It is disgusting at times to see some of the way people talk about blacks. There are differences and gotten into fights when I said Irish are better, but thats just to get into a brawl rather than meaning anything.
That does not mean I like white people who act like they are black or anything like that. Thats gross. Just, its strange growing up with blacks as your best friends, blood brothers, then seeing the way all of this plays out.
I have been in times where black people hated me b/c of my skin color, and been with whites who hated blacks and openly advocated shooting all blacks.

Its just, hard to understand UAIron. I would not want him in any position of employment with that attitude knowing his real views b/c well. He could cause a lawsuit of behemoth proportions.
Every individual regardless of race can achieve, its individual. Approach it as such and you can be surprised by the level of dedication and honest and friendship you can gain.
