Like I care anymore, but in general it most likely stems from them not wanting to hurt your feelings. What they must not understand is how much worse it is for you to find out they lied behind your back.

For future reference, ladies: Fuck people's feelings, especially s.o.'s. Tell them how you really feel and make them own up to it. After some initial ego bruising they'll respect you for telling them the truth, if they're worth anything.
 
i would probably lie to an ex. but not to spare their feelings, if only to make myself look better.

that said if i truly cared about the ex i'd be honest with them.
 
im all about honesty. iv lied thinking it was the better thing to do, but when it comes down to it for the most part i wont bullshit
 
I've lied to exes about stuff that happened in the past (why do they need to know the details?) but I dont lie about stuff that is still going on.

what about lying about why ur dumping them? IMO thats a really important thing to help them move on and grow

I've always been completely honest about why I was breaking up with a guy...Except for one time. But that time I needed to end it for very personal reasons and I couldn't make myself give that "it's not you, it's me" talk.

for u night crew people, iv been with 1 girl and lost my v when i was 17, everyone just calls me EF virgin so i stick with it...plenty on here who i talk with alot know im not actually one, but still joke about it.

i still suck at interacting with girls though :) (with pretty much anyone i first meet, i guess)

I lost my v card when I was 17 too - #2 didn't happen till I was 22.

i am gunna start my soph year. i went into first semester freshmen year with my gf still in highschool...we broke up over winter break. things started to get bad, to the point where i was relieved when we broke up...shoulda happened sooner. very complicated but now i have no desire to deal with wimmins...never really had game, either

well being a chick, you control when you have sex unlike guys who have to work hard and still have many predetermined factors working against/for them.

I't's kinda funny though. In the last 4 years I've had a couple of long gaps where I just didn't have anyone I wanted to sleep with...But after 6 months I start thinking like a guy...I start rating every guy I see and instantly deciding if they are an option. I hate that. I kinda start missing interacting with guys like normal human beings. You guys have it hard.

Every woman I have ever dated has been a notorious liar. So, i have to come to the conclusion that nearly all of them must lie at the drop of a pen.

Damn that all sounds awful, but I guess it's to be expected coming from a lawyer.
Do you also have no problem with your guy cheating on you behind your back pretending everything's cool, and then having to find out through a friend? What if he brought back a vd or something? What if he was with one of your friends?
