I used to have a problem that I would always fall asleep while reading. In law school, you have to read 100's of pages per night. My optometrist figured out that I had weak muscles in my eyes that resulted in reading fatigue. From reading so much every night and a weaker prescription, my muscles developed more stamina, and the problem finally corrected itself.

My point is just that there are SO MANY reasons that a person can have difficulty in reading. There are specialists who can usually determine the causes and remediate the situation. =-)
I ALWAYS fall asleep when I read too. No matter if Im tired or no matter what time of day it is. I always thought it was so strange. lol

Im actually waiting on my new glasses which are on order at the eye doctor. I hope it makes a difference for me.

I'll take pics when I get them (they just called - they're in!)

cool. i can picture what style would look great too, although since I don't wear glasses, and seem to pick the totally wrong sunglasses for myself, i probably have no idea.

you would look cute in those rectangular librarianesque heavy framed glasses that are popular now. I used to have a pair but I lost them.

as i get older, i have less and less patience for batting eyelash attention whores, excuse making slackers, and know-it-alls.

i know i should let it go, and I usually do, but sometimes (like lately), it comes back to me.

Actually for me, aging has had the opposite effect.

sometimes for me too.
i have periods of total acceptance of human weaknesses, and even when i'm experiencing intolerance, there are some things that never bother me- old people, my kids, jackangel, AAP, etc.
