that wonderful fucking feeling of your heart racing,no clear way to make things better and living in my own personal hell.

yes its that wonderful anxiety.

thanks to me being a nice guy and putting something on my credit which my parents assured me would be handled but wasnt im being sued,thats fun, and im trying to find odd jobs till I get the career thing going,which is taking fucking forever,I really just dont know what to do,Im so close to claiming bankruptcy it isnt funny, just take it all,start over clean that would be great.

thank god for benzo's,im gonna pop some before I have a fucked heart attack. jesus can it get any worse.

i guess the positive thing is i still have a great girl beside me and im alive,but fuck i just feel so god damn helpless right now
 
I'm sorry. I could help you with at least a little advice if you were in the US, but I don't know a thing about how it all works in Canada.

Go to a debut colsolidator/creid care company you claim bankruptcy and you are fucked for 7 years.
 
debt consolidation isnt an option when there is no money coming in,Im at the point now where Im basically going to lose everything slowly anyway,im being sued so this will be on my credit just as long I figure

Man, I get anxious sometimes. Thinking about shit that I need to do, and sometimes the littlest things will go wrong and ill dwell on them. it's hard for me to get to sleep some nights because i lay down and all these thoughts rush in to my mind.

My cousin was a single mom had next to no income coming in and the credit care companies helped her out find a non profit orgnization check out there options. I am pretty sure you are aware of this if not you should be the police do a credit check on you when hiring you need to have higher then an R9 credit rating.
 
im going to a financial advisor i think,and ya i know about the cop thing,but im not going that path anymore anyways,atleast not for a long time.

Make sure it is a non profit org there is all kinds of them. How much are you being sued for? A lot of creditors say they are going to sue but unless it is in the tens of thousands of dollars they ain't just a scare tactic.

its retarded its 1300bucks ,I put a computer for my family on my line of credit and they neglected to pay it off,now a local company contacted me and is prepairing teh court papers as we speak,its no longer the creditor im dealing with.

I would contact this local company and tell them that you are contacting a debt managment co. and want to resolve this with out going to court.

i definately would. I mean unless this is a really small, new company i highly doubt that they will take you to court until a last resort. they have much bigger debtors (is that even a word?) to go after. I think it's most likey, as stated, a scare tactic for now. They may be getting the papers ready but i wouldn't expect anything soon. But i'm certainly not an expert on this.
 
Bro, if you can pay them anything at all, it'll help. If not, tell them the truth & they might work with you. They're still gonna want your next sale.

i was in a similiar spot but got talked out of it...hard to get a mortgage with that on your report

yeah that's a pretty big ass company. Like i said, i'd def. get in touch with them and try to work it out with out court or bankrupcy. I would definately be talking with your parents about it, since they told you it was taken care of. I know it's hard when it's close family like that, but it's not fair to you either.
 
thats what ive been told aswell.

im just in a hard spot,I expected to be working weeks ago at this new job,but licenses are taking forver to come in and my part time side shit fell through and I got fucked royally so ive been with no income for a few weeks now and im fucked and not seeing a whole lot of options,this just put the icing on the cake

citi refers me back to this local company,buddy said the only way I can do anything is to come up with 800 minimum and then pay the rest off over time,and that wont happen as im broke and not working and my family has their own money issues because they arent responsible,and anytime i mention this they just yell and scream,so I get nowhere.

security and private investigation,and i did last fall,but then the company i worked for promised more then they could deliver and i was back at square one,but in the 6 months working for them bought a car and am stuck with that,been working shit in between,nothing steady,and been waiting over a month for a new company to get my licenses in so I can get back into the security and pi stuff with a far better company. just takin forever

lmfao @ $800, they are trying to get the most out of you by suggesting an over the top amount...if they assume you can pay $800 why the hell would you be in that spot to begin with? Don't believe the legal threats, they will keep on trying with such scare tactics. Sometimes collection agencies even have "law offices of..." in their name to make you actually believe they are suing you...just tell them you want to pay the minimum and they will let you.
 
collection companies are all yelling and screaming until you convince them that for all the bullshit, they have 2 choices: 1) shut up and take the money slowly or 2) get nothing.

there are at least 3 layers of yelling and screaming with bullshit threats etc etc until they settle on a deal with you. theres a lot of psych that goes with debt collection. they try to make people feel lucky about being able to pay the money back.

oh and bankruptsy for a 1300 debt is crazy. crayyyyzeeeeeeee dont even think about it
 
to file bankruptcy you have to prove you have more debt than equity. I believe there are some other things involved also. They don't just let you file. You have to go to court and all sorts of shit.
 
my family is going to take responsibility about the situation so im gonna try and work a deal to avoid court. once they settled down i think they realized i was gonna peak if they didnt sort this bullshit out

Hopefully you can avoid court cuz it will cost a lot more than 1300 if not. Your parents gonna help now? Sounds like a mix up. You'll get through it bro.
 
i basically flipped when they tried to pawn it off on me,and then they left,we had some thinking time,i grabbed a nap and when i got up they wanted to talk about it and are now willing to help sort this out so i dont have to goto court,thats 600 more in court fees

I didn't do bankruptcy,but worked deals with my creditors
still though settled, that era was bad marks on my credit
I remember rebuilding by getting a secured credit card from capitol one for 2 hundred dollar credit line
6 years later when I bought my first house the 50ish loan officer said she had only seen one credit score higher than mine
I get offers every other day in the mail
no interest for 12 months
or the best,no transactions fee(balance transfer) and no interest for 12 months
I move my debt around interest free for ever
my debt isn't much,and most of it is locked in at 3.9% with american express

back when I fucked up citibank was my largest creditor
I settled for 80% of the balance
still was a bad mark
today I get citibank offers so frequently in the mail
I toss them away
I have 2 citibank cards now
because of the different rewards programs
my main citicard has a 260$ cash balance I can request a check for
the other has some outrageous summer incentive program
pays 10% on restuarant charges
and 20% on hotel charges
they got a cap,but hell that's insane

debt levels-not including car about 10 grand among a few debitors
assests owed on-car
expected revenue once I get working 1300 weekly
car and student loan are paramount as car i need for work and student loan has cosigner who will fucking kill me if I fuck up.

mirrors my situation back then
I was thinking 10 grand was hell
1300 weekly can easily service your debt w/o credit counseling
and fuck no bankruptcy
 
i know once im working im good to go,thats why I wasnt worried until the being sued issue came up, and since im not back working yet because paperwork being slow im making nothing so thats why im in a spot
 
I have a friend who went to college for retraining.. The disabled fella I've mentioned before. He owed $14000 or so in student loans. His disability progressed fast & wasn't able to pay off loans. He's on CPP & disability= no money. They still call. 5yrs since his last payment. There's nothing they can do.

1300 a week is good,even pre-tax cash flow
I'm assuming your domicle expenses remain the same
consolidate the crap debt,pay it off
whatever don't do bankruptcy over that amount
make the minimum pymts on the larger debt and wipe out the smaller ones
less hassle factor
american express gave me no trans fee free checks with a 3.9% ceiling for the life of the debt
I rolled a bunch of poor decisions into that bastard

im being sued for 1300 and ill be making that a week once i get working,ill be ok if my parents sort this debt that is on its way to court out,otherwise ill be in shit,still wont claim bankruptcy,I was just real wound up earlier,im more relaxed now
 
for me it was i was into my career,could afford everything i had and then the career fell through and i was then making less then half of my previous wages,worked those jobs for a few months then decided my career was all that made me happy and im making a move back into it risking it all.

so definately not those reasons
