It's times like these that makes me think there is no hope for humanity. That the humane foundation on which the world rests is crumbling away.
It's a shame that so many innocent people had to die for a political power struggle. And for what? The ability to retain the world's oil supply. Terrorism is 99% ignorance and 1% political. That 1%, however, is the cause of many deaths. It's an awful day for humanity.
I'm thinking about going to nyc to stay with family and help in any way possible. If need be I would be willing to drop out this semester. I would do anything to be of service to my country and if it comes down to it I would sign up for the service. Watching those palestinians dance around the streets and rejoice at so many thousands of deaths just cut a wire loose in my head which is beyond comprehension. How is it one could look at people dying right in front of their eyes and be happy about it? How could they bite the hand that feeds the whole world? Come and attack my pride and joy, my freedom, and everything my grandparents and parents fought so hard for is definitely not a smart thing to do. Repercussions will be disastrous. Many have already died and passed on to the next life and it is so sad that many more will soon follow suit in retaliation. I just hope these "cells" of terrorists have for the time being, disbanded and aren't planning anything further. I don't know about you but I am very shook up, very on edge and scared for the lives of the many innocent yet to be killed. I was out tonite and it was a very sour mood everywhere. A loud noise scared me to death and I am not embarassed to say that i am very afraid of future goings on.
