Is Your First Cycle REALLY Your Best Cycle???

I hear alot of different opinions on this subject all the time. The majority says that you make the most significant gains(25lbs-40lbs)on your First cycle. While others say start small and build up each cycle. But, if you start small, you run the risk of missing out on the best gains of your life. What do you think? True? Or False?
 
YES

Make sure the stuff is real first. Then, make sure you eat a lot more calories and protein and train right. The first cycle should be the most effective. Are you going to use androgens or anabolics? Or both?
 
I hope it's not the most effective. Mine kinda fucked me up. I only gained about 7-9 lbs. I was sore and hell and had a fever from the sust and the D-bol fucked up my stomach and appetite big time.
 
Usually people who gain 40lbs are small to begin with. If you start out at 135lbs(which is stupid and counter productive, but that's for a different thread) you can easily end up with a 30-40lbs gain. Big deal, you're now 165-170lbs.

If you start out at 235lbs with 12-13% BF, (My friend actually), you can't expect a 20-30lb jump.
 
Big Andy, why can't big guys(220lbs-250lbs)gain 20-30lbs if they eat and train right on a first cycle? Manchild and a few other guys have done it. Please explain...

It can be, but most guys start before they are really mentally prepared for it. They use too little gear, they don't know how to train on AS, they don't know how to eat on AS, they are all jacked up and don't sleep enough, etc etc.
If you get past all that and your first cycle is on a solid base of mature muscle, that you have taken to it's near genetic limit, and you use enough gear, then yes the first cycle will be a thing of beauty you will never forget. And never duplicate.
 
I can tell you personally, I think it's totally different for everybody. I did 300 mg/wk QV cyp w/ 400 mg/wk DK Bold for 8 weeks, and NOTHING.
First cycle; I started off 6'0", 202 lbs @ 12%> ended pretty close to that after 8 weeks. I train 5 days a week and eat a clean 3000 cal/day diet ( okay, I did fuck up and drink a few beers in week 7, but that's it!) 10 hours of sleep a night; And yes, my gear was the real thing. Hardness, pumps, and vascularity did increase noticeably, and bf% may have dropped 1% or so; but at that little of an amount, that could've been water anyway.

Next time: 500+ mg Test, Tren, Dbols and more STEAK!

Well, I gained more strength on my first cycle. I beat the size with fina and winny though. Well, it was pretty close actually. What Ulter said was right on. Bear in mind though that much of the notion may be based on the fact that as you get bigger it gets harder to put on size.
 
The first cycle is your best because you are most likely the smallest (and farthest from your potential) of your AS career. Texas Ranger: Just do that Eq/Test/var cycle already and get it over with :>.

Being a 1st cycle, I didn't wanna overdo it; ya know, to see how my body would take it & all. Yeah, I should've upped the cals (*stomach ready to erupt*) , but hey, it's all a learning experience, right? Peace bro.:fro:
 
GEEZER, I was going say what Ulter said but he beat me to it. 3000 calories is dieting for most 200lbers on gear. The Biggest porblem I see with first time cyclers and unfortunately with more advanced ones is diet. They simply can't understand why they gained nothing then you come to find out they were eating 2000 calories. Most newbies now-days seem to have the firm belief that the gear builds the muscle when in reality it's the food you consume...more specificaly the protein quanity. A lot of people neglect carbs in hopes of avaoiding fat gains and yet they still whine about thier lack of gains. Anabolism is an energy expensive process that requires ample glucose. Sufficient carbs also fuel brutal training sesions of which ultimately stimulate the growth. All too often guys start thier cycle with the simultaneous yet contradictiory goal of getting massive and getting shredded at the same time in the same cycle. To pull this off they limit caloric intake, mainly in the form of carbs, in hopes of loosing fat or at the very least preventing lipogenesis and rely on the AS to "grow" the muscle for them. This ultimately sabotoges thier muscle gains and they still proceed to whine. It's a flawed notion of physiology. A lack of education. Your gains are what you make them to be on any cycle. You have the most potential for growth on your first cycle, but much of the time those on thier first cycle limit that potential by having limited knowldge or a skewed sense of reality.
 
Twitched, I'm going to roll with the Test/EQ cycle in a few. Just doing a bit more research.:) Much love goes out to Beezers for helping me with my diet!!! You da man, bro!!! :D
 
Twitched, the Anavar would put me in the poor house! So, it'll look like this- Test Enanthate(Testoviron or Quality Vet)@500mgs for 10 weeks and EQ(Quality Vet)@400mgs for 9 weeks. Something simple to go with [email protected] a day throughout and after the cycle. With the diet Beezers came up with, I should add 25-30lbs easily. I'm also going to take Pizotifen at .5mgs a day to increase my appetite. Couple that with the EQ, my appetite will go through the roof!!!!!!!!

I don't think so. My first cycle was good. it was only anavar though. I did a cycle after that , with injectables. It was more of a test of" what my body can take. I experimented with test cyp, test prop, eq, dbol, winny, and fina ( ED injections, which i learned a lot from) . I learned my body better, places to inject etc... so i'm more perpaired form my next cycle now that i know what dosages to take, how to properly inject, what eating works best for me etc..

I think my next cycle will be much better than my first because i know more about my body, food, injections. and gear

We will see when my next cycle starts.
 
as your body grow, your gains will slow down.. AAS will just make you gain faster, and if you have gained a lot without AAS you will not gain as much as someone that uses AAS for the first time when he has not trained that much...
