also, there are several manufacturer's who have been making ice cream with fortune cookie pieces in it for years...the chinese restaurant up the street always has it on their buffet on fridays...it's not like b&j were breaking any new ground or anything.

Completely stupid! Im in a meeting a couple weeks ago...I hear someone say JLin...(was another manager who just hapens to be Asian) I play dumb, and say "who is that?" immediately all four people who are Asian, start to proudly explain that he is an amazing ASIAN basketball player!
Later they start talking about how important that people recognize that hes Asian, they know every stat for him...I ask...who does he play for? Who else is on his team? what college did he go to? Only one person knew some of those answers. (not slammin them, they are great people) So later at lunch, they bring it up again, theyre talking about how the news needs to mention more about him being asian, and what endorsements he could get...one of them says that their uncle owns...guess....an Asian restraunt, and they are selling a special desert..green tea ice cream with fortune cookies....I never once thought of that as anything remotely associated with racism..until I read this story...(Now the moron who printed the "chink" comment, that was way way out of line, and just completely ignorant)..but ice cream with fortune cookies? Im German, if someone made a dish in my name with sausage and sour kraut..why in the hell would I be offended????
