I started a 5x5 routine a few months ago, and I've had some great results, however, I think I started 'bulking' at too high of a body fat. I don't know my percentage, but it feels too high for me, I'm not huge or anything I just should have started lighter.
Anyway, I know its very difficult to bulk greatly while doing cardio and limiting your diet, but is it possible for me to make decent strength gains(emphasis on strength not size), on a 5x5 routine, if I do AM cardio, and eat a little less(while still eating about 1gram of protein per lb).
so essentially I'm not trying to 'bulk' up, but trying to gain some mass, and strength, while maintaining a low body fat. Will this work well with 5x5?
