toshiba e350

or

toshiba e330
http://www.morgancomputers.com/shop/detail.asp?ProductID=1467&CategoryID=11&SubCategoryID=52

worthwhile...the first one is around 100 pounds (217.217 US Dollars)

second 140 pounds (259.878 US Dollars)

worthwhile? how future proof is the 300mhz processor. i;d be using mainly text based reference...and notation, but also the strong possibilty of graphical models and 3D model representation (the software out currently defintely runs on this model and inferior ones but will future one's)?

thanks! :)

OK, you are talking Pocket Pc, not palm

totally differnet animals, Pocket PC is much superior

Those are good, Ilook for one with a built in compact flash slot since it will not only allow you to use extra memory cards for storage (mp3's, files, programs, etc...) but also attachments such as wireless cards and digital camera's.

I would also recommend Compaq Ipaqs (I believe they're HP now) which is what I have and I love it. The only draw back is that it needs a bulky sleeve in order to be able to use attachments like the ones I mentioned on top.

both my friends have the ipaq's, they look good, but are also pricey!

i'll shop around a bit more...the appeal of extra memory is pretty high though :p
