According to some sources, there WAS supposedly a guy that singly was responsible for widely spreading the disease way back when it was still relatively unknown (like in the 60s or 70s). Supposedly he did know he had something and did travel to lots of high homosexual activity areas across the US, canada and I think the world, having sex with lots of random unsuspecting dudes and spreading the disease. Supposedly he infected hundreds of people with it. If I remember right, they think he was french or french canadian or something.

He wasn't the first case, by a long shot, and he was probably one of the worst kinds of scum, but he didn't have sex with any monkeys man.

The disease existed for some time (decades) before we ever knew about it.

This is what I have heard about how aids got started is this all correct, part correct or totally wrong.

I heard that some dude did with a monkey or an ape or something in africa(guess he believed in evolution thought he was just doing a decent relative) and that is how aids got started. Then some gay steward(flight attendent caught it from the monkey lover or one of the monkey lovers lover. Then he was very promiscuous and when he flew to different cities he would sleep with a bunch of different guys. The bad part if I remember right he even knew he had it and slept around anyway. Anyway that is why it spread so fast because he took aids on tour so to speak.

Well do I got it wrong or is there some truth it my understanding of it?

It came from SIV, simmian immunodeficiency virus that is present in monkeys and apes, our closest cousins evolutionarily speaking, since we are so similar genetically when they killed and harvested these primates(something that you are too) they came into contact with their blood and was infected with with SIV which then mutated into a more potent virus(There's your evolution morons for those who say why dont we things changing in front of our eyes, b/c time is sped in viral worlds allowing it to be seen in real time).
