i actually am going into bio engineering next year, and i wanna be a dentist.

i used to wanna be a gynocologist but then i realized most of the tang u see is covered in herpes and funguses


EDIT: dentist as in orthodontist since they make more $$

So you wanted to be someone who is supposed to be completely trusted by women, just so that you could get off on seeing "tang"?

Gee, that inspires a hell of alot of confidence in the medical profession. You're doing a tremendous service by staying the hell out of it.

As a dentistry professional with experience in ortho, your reason for wanting to enter the profession doesn't surprise me at all, as it's consistent with the
not client centered but rather revenue grabbing mentality of many dentists. If you end up actually becoming an orthodontist, do a favour and try your best to introduce oral hygiene to your mostly teen clients, that way when the brackets come off they don't have their nicely aligned dentitions covered in incipient lesions and gingivitis with the beginnings of periodontal pockets with probe depths of greater than 4mm. Then you don't have to feel AS guilty after collecting the five grand or more from their parents.

first off...lol@u taking me seriously.

i was kidding abouti the gyno thing.

as for the dentistry thing, iv always been fascinated with the human body, and for a while i wanted to be a surgeon after disecting in 7th grade (lol).

then i met the coolest dentist iv ever met, and i used to hate the dentist since i had alot of bad teeth experiences as a younger kid - (to be exact, the orthodonist i used to go to fucked up taking my brackets off and scraped alot of my enamel, im not exactly sure, but it wasnt my fault so dont try and blame me even tho i know u want to)

so he was awsome and played computer games like i did and always made me feel welcome, he was a dentist for the local hockey team and gave me a hockey stick, and he took out these fake teeth things and put the dental drill in my hand and let me drill into the fake teeth mold. it was awsome. i decided i liked dentistry.

orthodontists make more than dentists...thats what i meant by wanting to be an ortho over dentist.
