All the companies that make guns, tanks, uniforms, tents, supplies, medical supplies, etc...Big fucking money there. any company making new developments in Iraq is going to make bank now and in the future...I'm sure all these companies had something to do with G.B. getting re-elected...

When we kicked Iraq out of Kuwait some people thought that we should have gone into Iraq and toppled Saddam then. Instead, Bush ended the war at the 100 hour mark. It sounds good. We defeated them in 100 hours, wow, we must be good. Instead, a large part of Iraq's army was still in tact, at least to be of use against their own people.

Then we encouraged the kurds to rebel against Saddam, with the belief that we would help them. OOPS, the world didn't like that policy, so we hung the Kurds out to dry.

Should we have toppled Saddam the first time? Who knows, but at least then we had a better reason to be there.

Iraq has NOTHING to do with 9/11, and everything to do with money. Cheneys Halliburton options ("... i no longer have any financial interest in halliburton..." HAH!) are now up 6,000 or so percent in last 2 years.

Billions have disappeared. The Treasuries of 2 countries ransacked. In chaos there is opportunity.

Money was doled out to contractors (read "administration connected people") in knap sacks off the back of trucks in Iraq without any accountability (but lets cut medicare). Its a fucking disgrace. But the piper is going to be paid thanks to Fitzgerald, and karma is a bitch.
