NO; SHAMPOO by itself does not have this function....

i've done some looking on google and it seems there are a lot of shampoos that are made to deal with dht (what is responsible for the hairloss)

not so strong to do so; otherwise there will be no bald anymore. a Shampoo is a shampoo, clean remove the dht but it is not terapeutic. Nizoral is good to use together with the hailoss meds.

Alternating between Nizoral shampoo and Dercos was a good combo for me. But as Magick said, you also need some other topical agents to do the job. I used something called MinSawA (Minoxidil, Saw Palmetto, Retinolic Acid).
