That's Kim Posher. She is a 13 yr old girl who lives in Texas and suffers from down syndrome. She is also deaf.
She attends Carter Middle School – With her school guidance counselor, this eighth grader helped initiate a "Girls' Group" to help young women struggling with self confidence and making good choices. As the organization's secretary, she has inspired others to stand up for themselves. Camera's talents are numerous and varied: she recently placed second in an oratorical contest, plays tennis and the violin, and is active on the dance team.
