after over a 1 year break of training i got back into the business - had my test values checked, to see where i stand and if they are impaired in any way (no indication, i just have been doing some ph cycles in the past and wanted to know where im at)
the first time i checked was in the evening, following the first week of -every-day-workouts-of-some-kind and a rather lowish carb/tkd diet with a slight caloric restriction - result i got was around 12 (equals around 350) with the reference range being 9-35 which was kinda of a big let down (im 29)....
this made me quite concerned and so after a few days rest, re-feedsi checked em again in the morning and they were around 19.5 (equals around 570) which is still not awesome but at least a bit less concerning...
so my questions are now
- i know test values fluctuate depending on time, stress, diet etc. - but this seems a rather severe swing?
- if that kind of high fluctuations are possible - when do i ever know that a test represents my "true" test values? what would be the optimal time to take a test (not time of the day but rather within what circumstances)?
- should -being 29- a value below 800 be of big concern to me?
thanks for your feedback
ps: took both tests at the same labratory
