is my fina crap now?

i think i made my fina wrong,it came out looking red,the last time it was gold,i filtered it wrong i think,i tried to refilter it but it still came out red,is it still good to use or should i throw it away??

sounds like you heated it too long...should still be good, my buddy's turned out the same way...

May have heated it alil long....mine did the same and looked that way cause i heated a lil long. i wouldn't sweat it

if you do repeated heating to disolve, you will get oxidation ultimatly making it turn a reddish color.

I have done 3 so far. 1 fast with heatings=reddish
2 slow = golden see thru color (like pee)

It is still good tho

BINGO. Heating will increase air oxidation which will make it more darkly colored. It's probably still OK though.
