I was wondering if the charges that Martha is facing is a jailable sentence? And how much years is she facing?

30 years max if convicted of all charges. They are after her mostly for the obstruction and fraud charges. People accept and act on insider information all the time. But, she was a ceo of a publicly traded company. She sat on the board and the NYSE. She tampered with evidence, lied, and told other people to lie for her. The intial crime was minor and would have resulted in her paying a 45,000 dollar fine for the money she would have lost without the insider info. The so called "coverup" is what fucked her.

Given what she is charged with and the strength of the case against her - she will probably serve 2 years.
Fed cases are an ugly duck. They don't charge you until they are certain they can convict you. That's why Feds have a 90% conviction rate.
Her lawyers will try to plead her to a fine. It will be denied.
Her lawyers will try to plea her for house arrest and community service. It will likely be denied.
Her lawyers will try to plea her to less than a year. It iwll likely be denied.
I'm guessing 18 months minimum... two years max. 85 percent has to be served.

Good point my man though I did have white collar crime in mind, not murder.
