Is it worth it?

Buddy who trains religiously, eats clean 99% of the time, does a good amount of cardio, and really cares about his physique is pondering jumping on a test/dbol cycle for the first time. I was going to start with him, but I'm afraid that due to my long office hours right now and my sleep suffering, I will be wasting it. He's all lined up and really does have everything mapped out, the only problem he has (well 2) is.......he has a hard time sleeping for more than 2 hours at a clip. He'll crash at 9 to be up at 4, but might wake up for 5 minutes every 2 hours in the night...whether it's to piss, thirsty, something.....also, he trains later in the evening, so he has a PW shake, showers, goes back to work for an hour or so and then it's time to crash. He claims to eat his final meal while he's sleeping (lol, I think he mans, eats, brushes his teeth and crashes)..it's not a huge meal, but does have a good amount of calories coming from protein and fats. Finally, my question........will he be wasting his gear providing everything else is on point? Or will he make some good gains? He's prob. 5''11, 185 and 9%.....
 
tell him to go for it. everyone is different so he will never know if he doesn't try.

thanks radar......I think he'll be ok too.........you dont think sleep patterns and a large meal before bed will inhibit his gains? I'm thinking a large meal before hand would almost be benefitial while he's on as his body will be craving the foods, but unsure abut the whole GH release thing.......
 
I agree, the large meal before bed should help his gains. Sleep patterns... are a different story. He may not have much trouble, I don't sleep regularly...I get more than two hours a stretch, but I sleep a max of 6 hours per night. Most of the time it is between 4 and 5. It has been that way since I got struck by lightning...I still make gains, though it may not be as much as I could with better sleep.
 
My sleep pattern suck, but I'm making good gains. I sleep til about three every morning and I have to get up to piss. Plus I am tossing and turning all the time. I have been doing this since I was about 15. I guess I have just got use to it. I eat a good meal before bed and it seem to help with my body overnight. Plus if I don't I'm starving by the time I get up.

Tell him to do it. He's probably used to sleeping that way. My sleep is all fucked up, but I still do very well.
 
I throw a few spoons of natural peanut butter in my shake before sleep. It slows the digestion nicely... I would go for it.
 
his plan is to start monday.........he's extremely concerned about his caloric intake pre-bed, but I informed him, it's his only meal after his PW shake and rice cakes, so he needs it.....

it's about 60-70 peanuts (20-25gf)
1/2 cup egg white,cup of skim and scoop of casein
250g of dry curd cc

nothing is you want to grow, eh?

also will be on 25mg of dbol wk1-4
500mg test cyp for 10 weeks front load with prop and finish with prop 2 weeks each 100mg eod

and then cut with eq and winny/tren
