I hear that doing Leg workouts or working out your legs in the gym will assit in your upperbody growth etc.. I never do Legs in the gym which is the reason I now have chicken legs even though I play hockey. What is your input on that?

you can't support a big foundation on a pair of chicken legs, you need to do some type of squat and leg presses or you will have no symetery at all..

This is true only IF you are doing free weight squats. Doing leg extensions is not going to magically put an inch on your bicpes. Squats however incorporate the entire body into the lift.

A hockey player that doesn't work his legs:confused:

Wow

I just got beat up online. I never did any Leg workouts, I just did alot of running. Anyhow, I found the answer to my question. Thanks Fellas.

Robboe: I am glad you feel that way.

Hahaha

John G, It's not that i don't like you, it's just that people who don't do their legs really annoy me.

I've heard people saying they don't want 'bulky' legs. They don't realise how long it would take to get their legs 'bulky' and don't realise that stronger legs can help other lifts.

If you dont do your legs I guess you'll look like a "V" man one day lol

quite simply this is wrong. the huge amount of muscle in ur lower body when stimulated ( ie excercised) puts the whole body and central nervous system into a anabolic state.

so in short legs work the whole body. even if u want to improve ur shoulders
