Is it possible to get leaner, without any serious discomfort?

p60

New member
Okay,

I am currently at around like 13% bodyfat, and I want to get down to something like 7% bodyfat. I dont care how long it takes to get me there.

The thing I do care about though is how comfortable I am while doing it. I do not want to feel the least bit hungry or even the least bit unsatisfied after a meal.
I am TOTALLY cool with eating cleaner, switching all my foods over to certain types - healthier kinds (as long as I dont get robbed of carbs or am forced to change all my carbs to vegtables)
In other words, I am very cool with making sure I'm eating all low GI carbs, good sources of protein, good fats, some veggies (but not abusing veggies for the sake of trying to fill a gigantic empty void in my stomach)
I am also totally cool with increasing my daily amount of cardio and changing my weight routine a bit if I have to. I am cool with anything that involves exerting energy to burn more calories,

But again, I will repeat, I am not cool with deprivation.
Right now I am eating sort of healthy but could be doing better (lay off of the protein bars, eat more variety, eat out with friends less often) I also could definately be getting in the gym more. I am probably lifting about 1 day a week and doing cardio 1 day a week, yes I know I'm a slacker.

So I'm cool with changing that crap. I am so cool with it that I would even be willing to do multiple hours a day of exercise, as long as it meant i didnt have to count calories, only eat 1 fist worth of food, per meal, etc, and all of that bullshit.

So, is this possible. Can I get lean and still have a completely happy tummy after every meal? (note, I can get happy off of clean food, as long as I get enough of it)

if so, please tell me how, I'm very open to ideas at this point

Discipline.

If you don't have the self-discipline to eat right you won't get there.... ever.

Join the armed forces and get some discipline, then try to break 13%

just let me make sure I understand this,

eating right means means going hungry (even if it is only slightly) in order to lose fat, right?

As long as that's what you meant, i understand and thats cool.

But if eating right just meant eating healthy, I have been basically doing that for awhile.

I have seen you ask the same questions 10 times and you have got the answer 10 times, WHY DON'T YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT???

There's a new breakthrough medication that fits your criteria to a T!!!

Check it out!

Methamphetamine
Brand Name: Desoxyn

Description
DESOXYN (methamphetamine hydrochloride tablets, USP), chemically known as (S)-N, (alpha)-dimethylbenzeneethanamine hydrochloride, is a member of the amphetamine group of sympathomimetic amines.

Desoxyn is used to treat ADHD and Exogenous Obesity.

Pharmacology
Methamphetamine is a sympathomimetic amine with CNS stimulant activity. Peripheral actions include elevation of systolic and diastolic blood pressures and weak bronchodilator and respiratory stimulant action. Drugs of this class used in obesity are commonly known as "anorectics" or "anorexigenics". It has not been established, however, that the action of such drugs in treating obesity is primarily one of appetite suppression. Other central nervous system actions, or metabolic effects, may be involved, for example.

Adult obese subjects instructed in dietary management and treated with "anorectic" drugs, lose more weight on the average than those treated with placebo and diet, as determined in relatively short-term clinical trials.

The natural history of obesity is measured in years, whereas the studies cited are restricted to a few weeks duration; thus, the total impact of drug-induced weight loss over that of diet alone must be considered clinically limited.

The mechanism of action involved in producing the beneficial behavioral changes seen in hyperkinetic children receiving methamphetamine is unknown.

In humans, methamphetamine is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The primary site of metabolism is in the liver by aromatic hydroxylation, N-dealkylation and deamination. At least seven metabolites have been identified in the urine. The biological half-life has been reported in the range of 4 to 5 hours. Excretion occurs primarily in the urine and is dependent on urine pH. Alkaline urine will significantly increase the drug half-life. Approximately 62% of an oral dose is eliminated in the urine within the first 24 hours with about one-third as intact drug and the remainder as metabolites.

Eating right (to get lean) doesn't mean going hungry.
It means eating lean.

If you don't know, by now, how to eat lean and cut....then god help you. I've seen you ask this same damn thing dozens of times.

Go with the meth, my friend.

I've seen you post about your social problems in previous threads. Boy, you won't have to worry anymore. You'll be high as a kite AND you'll lose weight at the same time. And if you didn't like cardio much before, you'll sure as hell love it now.

Never mind the comedown effects. Paranoia? Baaah...humbug. Don't worry about that.

Hell, do a hillbilly speedball. Mix you up a nice rail or two of coke and meth. A quick kick with sustained action. That's what you need.

Go get 'em, tiger.

Allright, I'll take your question seriously

1. Start doing cardio and quit being a lazy fuck.
2. ALA/GT/ALC stack w/ ALL meals.

basically because of this:
If 'doing something about it' equates to starving, you can definately count me out.

I'm looking for any possible other solution, heck it never hurts to try :)
but if I'm annoying you guys with my repeated searching for an easy way out...

then maybe I should keep on searching. ;)

This is why you will never, ever attain a single goal in life. Be it weight loss or career oriented.

Go back to Breezy Pines Mobile Home Park, get your neighbor's shotgun and blow your foot off. Collect government assistance checks for the rest of your life.

eating lean...

hmm is this some sort of new linguo I'm hearing?

I've asked this question before and almost every response I've heard, has been suggesting some sort of way of drastically cutting back on carbs or some other dietary solution that leaves me feeling deprived.

Is this what eating lean is all about? Because if so, i dont see the difference between that and going hungry.

Go on a NO carb diet. Eat all the meat, eggs, cheese, tuna, mayo, bacon, celerey, etc. that you want!

It takes a month or two, but when your body adjusts, you'll feel so good you'll never eat the same way again.

:)

On a second thought,

I am curious to hear if any of you guys have naturually been at a bodyfat like 12-15% even when you have been eating healthy and doing cardio and lifting. Because for me I have. Even back when I was eating cleaner and doing more cardio and lifting, I still wasnt getting any leaner,
its almost as if my body absolutely hates dropping below 12% unless I resort to some diet that makes me feel deprived and unhappy on a daily basis.

I guess what I'm wondering is, have any of you guys ever been in my boat, (where you were already doing the 3 days of cardio, 3 days of lifting, and pretty healthy eating) and yet still were floating at around 12% BF? And have you guys also found a temporary 'lean eating plan' that allowed you to permanently lower your BF in the 7% range? And when I say permanent I mean like you have been there for at least an entire year without much variance at all.

so in other words all you did was suffer on some diet for a few months, and now you are permanently hotter because of it, even though you have now switched back to what you were doing before.

lets hear some responses. forgive the longness of all my posts.

My body hates going below 14%bf or so. That being said, I've dropped down to a hair over 12% in the last 8 days on Swolegenix. I see no reason why I won't be able to hit the single digits in a month or so...oh, I'm also getting stronger. :)

First thing you have to realize is that dieting isn't fun. It doesn't have to be hell on Earth, but don't expect it to be painless.

Do cardio everyday for an hour, drop the junk food, eat a ton of protein. Do that for two weeks and see if you don't look different.

Does anyone who diets like this ever maintain a hella low bodyfat for long term?

BTW,

just thought I would add:

It has been statistically proven in the medical world that about 95% of the people who use 'conscious restraint' in order to lose fat end up gaining all the weight back if not more.

And I already know the counterpoint that you guys are going to say about this:

Well those people are stupid and revert back to their former eating plan after their diet, and thus they end up gaining the weight back.

So let me get this straight. In order to get lean, and to stay lean, I would not only have to diet (create caloric deficit), but also stay on that depriving diet in order to look fancy?

To lose the fat, you're gonna have to cut down on what you eat and also eat better quality food. Depending on your age, you'll likely have to do cardio and lift weights as well. As soon as you accept that, you'll be good to go. :)

Once you get to where you want to be in terms of bodyfat then yes, you can slack off a bit. Obviously, you can't go ass-wild on McDonalds everyday, but a Big Mac once a week won't kill ya. A diet should be a temporary thing, imo. It's not something you should do forever.

35 y/o with no cardio and I'm around 7-8% bf.

I eat a healthy diet and eat no complex carbs after 7:00 pm.

That's it.

This is how eat when cutting every spring.

It took me 4 months to lose 20 lbs.

I eat 7 meals a day and I'm never hungry.

I prefer to stay on a diet I can live with every day. I like the food I eat so it's not much of a problem.

I eat moderate protein/carbs/fats and lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. I try and stay away from cooking my food as much as possible. I also drink about 2 gallons of water per day.

If I want a double quarter pounder, I have one. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so no problem there.

Interesting. If there's one thing I've noticed as I get older, it's that I can't slack off too much diet-wise or I start getting chubby.

Do you have a fast metabolism? Have you always been fairly lean?

Shit, when I was 19 I could eat french fries all day, drink beer all night, sleep for 3 hours and still make gains in the gym. Now, just 7 years later my body just can't handle that kind of stuff like it used to.

just to let you know, hunger pains don't have anything to do really with how much food your body needs. So depending on many facors, you MAY just end up being hungry. I mean if by eating at say 10x your bodyweight in calories to lose weight, you are always hungry, then...That's just life. Eventually (I imagine) your hormones will come into balance (like grehlin and such) and you won't feel hungry anymore on the lesser calorie intake. Just drink a shit ton of water and spinach if youre hungry.

Yes.

I went from like 20% bf to like 12 or so that I am now over the course of a year. Just in the past few months, I completely stopped all fat loss. No matter what I did. I was contemplating hitting up the DNP again it was that bad. Morning cardio wasn't doing shit, eating mroe wasn't doing shit, eating less...nope, nothing. So I just took 2 weeks off of maintaining a proper diet and ate mass amounts of crap. I'm going to diet again for another 2-3 weeks and see what happens. Keto diet..No carbs...No carbups...Then it's bulk city for 2 months.

I can put on bf if I work at it. LOL

I bulk in the winter and give myelf a nice spare tire. Yeccchhhh.

I hear you about being 19 though. I could down an entire x-large pizza with no ill effect, other than indigestion. I first noticed that I was getting a little bf around age 25. Freaked me out, to say the least.

When I said I would eat a burger if I wanted, I should have mentioned that I may only eat one per month, if that.

I really don't care to put too crap in my body. Now suicide wings are a different story altogether.:p

If you want to get an idea of what I look like, look for some pics of sexualmustard. We have very similar looks, physique wise.

Stay cool at 13% b/c you will have to be deprived in some way shape or form when cutting to 7%.

I can't explain why,

but for some reason, this was what I wanted to hear.
