Greetings,
I am currently on my first 10 week 300mg/week DECA only cycle (3rd week in). I heard that in order to get full benefit, I need to be eating 4000-5000 high quality calories a day with shit loads of protein. However, I obviously want to make mostly muscle gains on this cycle and would like to be leaner and don't want to see these xtra calories adding soft weight to my physique. Currently I'm 5'10", 185lbs, 16% BF with pretty crummy muscular genetics, and have been lifting pretty seriously for 6 years. It seemed that the three months of good eating and regular cardio before the juice didn't do jack - that's why i turned to the deca to increase lean muscle mass to get rid of some BF as well.
Should I be doing any cardio on this cycle!? Currently I'm getting in about 25min 3x/week on the treadmill in addition to hitting the weights 6x/week hard. But if I'm eating that many calories, am i going to see any "leaning out" benefits from the cardio, or am I just wasting my breath? I'm prone to being chubby in the love handles/lower back area, and I threw in the cardio so the couple extra thousand calories i eat a day wouldn't accumulate there.
Any input on this matter would be great.
