Is it Illegal to Stand on Motorcycle Seat Going Down the Road?

I don't want to do it in front of a cop if it is indeed illegal. Also what about laying back so far your head is on the back fender with your hands by the ground?

I don't know about that one... but I do know the police make a big stink if you try to surf on the roof of a van going down the freeway.

As for the standing on the seat one, most will just give you a warning if you're on the open road.

I can't say about the other. They could get you for reckless driving.

Nah, I was running V&H shortsots, with half the baffles cut out when I got pulled. He told me he liked the way it sounds.




But most of my neighbors didn't care for it when I would leave early in the morning.

If a cop sees you doing either, they may get you for reckless driving... Kinda like those assholes that drive with thier left foot up on the left side of the dash... Illegal??? maybe not, but certianly stupid... If I had just paid as much as you did for a bike, I certianly wouldn't be taking chances like that unless I was a paid stuntman...
