Is is gift recycling tactless?

Do any of you recycle gifts given to you by passing them onto someone else in front of the original gift giver?

Or have you given a gift to someone only to find that that person has given it away to someone else?

Do you find that rude and tactless?

if its something personal, ie for a bday, and the giver put thought into it, then yeah, tahts not nice at all

if its from one of those greek weddings where you have 1000 people invited (yes. really.) and you get 250 gifts, so taht you have 14 toasters, 11 grillers, 22 cutlery sets, 44 tablecloths, 93 doilies of various sized and a big double sided purple dildo from your cousin Maria (who thinks its hilarious, because she has been driven mad by relentless teasing in childhood about her goatee) then its perfectly ok to give away the gifts. except for the dildo, of course. that would be wrong.

No, its not the k hit, I dumped it off like I have all the others. It was the PM accusing me of giving away something you offered out of kindness. Its just weird, so whatever, I finish PMing and you make a thread about it and in a round about way are putting down for dumping 20 points of karma. Its not about a character that is just for fun, its just unbelievable that I have to defend myself for giving away the 20 points of karma.
I just dont get it, karma doesnt exist and you make this thread like a threw away a birthday gift or something.
Its unbelievable, I didnt think twice about dumping the karma, I moved on, then the PM and then this thread, its like gimme a break already
