Is going on cycle on a calorie deficit a "waste"?

What does everyone think about going on cycle without a surplus of calories? Is it worth it to try to "re-comp" or are you just sacrficing muscle gain?
 
it depends entirely on what you are trying to achieve. you are highly unlikely to gain much, if any, muscle in a calorific deficit. however, if you are attempting to cut BF whilst maintaining LBM, you will do very well. provided all other variables are in check.
 
If you are dieting down to get super lean, then no, its not a waste.
 
If diet and training Is good then you will loose fat and gain muscle (lbm). Yes it is possible (even doin it natty). what's deficit to you? like 2000 cals?
 
Check out the title of the thread my young friend. Primobolan works particularly well during calorie deficits.

Can you explain how primo is any more effective in promoting anabolism and preventing catabolism than other aas in a caloric defecit?

Always been a mystery to me.
