you just named the drastic side effects of using DNP, but you still wish to use it? WHY???? Are you a competitive bodybuilder needing to get down to 3% BF? If not then there are, as you already know, MUCH safer ways to get lean. It might take a little longer and be a little more difficult, but thats part of the fun, seeing how dedicated to your goals you can be. Everyone wants to find the easy way out, which is why many venture into AAS use in the first place. The reality is until you learn how to manage your diet and training you will NEVER look the way you want in the long run.

Im assuming you have no idea what it takes to actually measure and cap this stuff do you........or you wouldn't be thinking about buying the powder and making it yourself

DNP is a high explosive, so getting it from a chemical supplier (if you find one that sells it), could be suspicious behavior.

Actually my understanding is that the fatburning effects were discovered by accident. Workers handling dynamite absorbed it through their skin. It was actually marketed as a fatburner in the early 20th Century, lot of people don't know that. But... of course there were a lot of people frying themselves because it's so easy to overdose on so it was pulled.

but if you want to push on and use it be carefull becuase if you measure the dose wrong. Off by just a few milligrams its a very painful death no chance for hospitilazation your brian and organs are cooked and its not pretty.To anwser the question it can be bought online through most research chemical supplu house websites just google it and you'll see.

The warning results from a report to the Department's Pesticide Poisoning Registry on the recent death of a Long Island resident who had reportedly used DNP for four days.

The young man's death was reported to the State Health Department by the Long Island Poison Control Center, which indicated that the individual apparently ingested 600 milligrams of DNP a day for four days.

DNP is an agricultural pesticide (a herbicide) but is not registered for use in New York State. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, it was sold in the 1930's in diet pills but was banned in 1938 because of severe health effects. Dinitrophenols are toxic to the liver, kidney and nervous system. The chemical causes hyperthermia (increased body temperature), dehydration, tachycardia (rapid heartbeat), restlessness and manic behavior and convulsions which typically signify an immediate lift-threatening intoxication. There are anecdotal reports of other deaths from DNP as a weight loss supplement.

Although DNP use in diet pills was banned in 1938, it is currently being marketed and used by body builders, and is also advertised and marketed on the Internet. The extent of its use is unknown at this time.

The State Health Department has contacted the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to explore ways to warn consumers about the dangers of DNP, to identify product names under which it is being sold and to dissuade its further use. Dan duchiane seemed to make it popular once more around 1988 when he introduced it into the bodybuilding world. so he was the genius that got bodybuilders to use it. Dan duchiane was not know to be rational he sometimes suggested all kinds of crazy thing and people did them and for the most part they all semmed to work even if ones life was on the line. dan even used dnp thats how he knew it worked.

I trust that if dan sawthe current stage at what bodybuilding has become he himself would be disgusted becuase even he said bodybuilders back around 1990 were pushing the envelop a little to far 15 years ago

Right, alot of uses.Though, I've heard chemists have lists of more suspicious buyers, that's what I meant.I doubt a couple grams will get someone in trouble.I haven't been to a chemist in a long time, so couldn't check on policies and such. I originally wasn't totally sure if chemists actually sold polynitro compound high explosives. Doing a random search, 500g 2,4-DNP (packaged with 35% water) costs $221.25 at http://www.brainerdchemical.com whereas: http://www.sciencelab.com sells the exact same for $95.00!

So, you have seen the report? But if that is the case and he did use stimulants, even at the dosage he thought was safe, his failure of identifying predisposing factors resulted in death, so taking DNP is like playing with fire, and I should also note, long-term use of DNP is of a serious carcinogenic concern. DNP is reduced and metabolized in the body to 2-amino-4-nitrophenol and 4-amino-2-nitrophenol. And although 2,4-dinitrophenol directly may or may not have proven elusive in some carcinogenic tests (such as the Ames test which gives a negative for DNP, but a positive for white grape juice and a negative for some well-known carcinogens such as 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin aka dioxin) as well as not being studied much, one of its metabolites at least one in question, which is 4-amino-2-nitrophenol, has proven carcinogenic in some experimental animals trials (distinct rare tumors of the urinary bladder seen in rodents, especially males) as well as being mutagenic in the Salmonella test (unlike DNP).The other metabolite produces mentionable results (the 2-amino-4-NP has shown tumors in the kidneys in male rats). These substances pass right through the urinary bladder and kidneys (though in the urine, the predominantly resulting metabolized product appears to be 2-amino-4-nitrophenol, but that's because the other 4-amino compound is more rapidly processed and destroyed). 2,4-Diaminophenol also is a breakdown product of DNP, which is a compound that is apparently also a mutagen and thus a predicted carcinogen.
