Is CEE legit?

There is a lot of garbage on there. CEE was not developed by the supplement industry. I was developed and patented by the Univ of Nebraska. It's safe and effective or they wouldn't license their patent for it to be sold to the public. There are studies on it's effectiveness. Macro probably has them bookmarked, I don't.

By no means am I doubting CEE's effectivness. I am sure that more than a few major supplement companies are passing off mono as CEE though.

I've experimented with both mono and CEE (PureCEE only) and genuine CEE is hands down on a higher level than any type of monohydrate. I don't ever plan on hitting the gym without a dose of CEE, it just wouldn't be the same.

I'm no where near versed enough in organic chemistry to make any sense out of the argument going on over at MD, but it seems that there are some questionable points being made about CEE's effectiveness.

i wanna see what mac has to say about this too...i personally like cee..wouldnt hit the gym without it...i find for me at least(myexperience) it doesnt make me stronger...but allows me to do more repetitions so i get better muscular endurance...thats for me

sorry could not read past the first post, which was entirely idiotic and incorrect.

ethyl ester delivery is commonly used to provide oral bioavailability and plasma uptake to drugs. it is being used more and more often for amino-acid derived drugs. some of the oldest include acyclovir, Trandolapril. for instance Etilevodopa they dont say levodopa ethyl ester but thats what it is. others like Linoleic acid ethyl ester and ketoprofen ethyl ester

You are sharp dude. I consider myself to be no grey matter slouch but I still have to read most of these posts twice to get it all. 50% of the people of the world would have had 90% of what you said go over their heads.....besides oral, and idiot...they would have got that.

If cee is so bad for you, then MD needs to stop taking money from places who sell it in their mag. Double standard bs. Cee is not going to kill anyone, only help you put on the lbs (both the bar and the scale).

Macro, Ulter,

I am in no way questionning the effectiveness of CEE, but have never been able to find human studies on it. Do you have some references to check?

Thanks.

in many other forums few complains about high level of creatinine and kidney pains. Looks like that convert more easily than mono in creatinine

there are no published studies on creatine ethyl ester. there is unpublished data from researchers and companies that tried to get a use patent on it. This use patent is still in dispute because creatine ethyl ester was actually developed in the thirties. however that being said Ethyl ester delivery technology is widely established as effective. Because of the uncertainty of the patent its unlikely that anyone will invest in the cost of clinical trial.
the only patent that was approved was on its synthesis.

as a note- the people that started "rumors" about creatine ethyl ester can be in one way or another linked back to the people involved with kreakalyn- they do have a use patent. they were set to take the creatine world by storm, then comes CEE- a compound that was not patented that anyone could sell- and definitely more effective and took pretty much most of their market share as well as thier projected share. Krealkalyn is a decent product, and its better than monohydrate, but it really cannot compete with Pure Creatine ethyl ester.
