Is anybody else sick?

I have been battling the flu since last Saturday. I knew Friday night I was getting sick. I absolutely hate that feeling. At first, I just felt kind of washed out and tired. Then by Sunday, it started moving into my chest. I didn't have a fever until about three days ago and it was 103 degrees. It's down to about 100 degrees now but I have some bad chest congestion and everything on me aches. My head, eye sockets, joints, neck area and shoulders and coughing about every two minutes. My throat is raw and I have lost my voice.

I have never been as sick as I am right now.

Anybody else been through this and how long did it take to get over it?

Yeah there are a lot of people ill around me and me too. I started a few days ago with a 100 degree fever and it has not gone down. Just lay low and stay out of the cold, your body will fix itself.

no i didnt get sick this winter except for stip throat in nov. that sucked. it comes on quicly and leaves quickly though. get well soon.

My wife is a school teacher and she said it has almost reached epidemic proportions with the number of kids absent. I don't think I can lay low much longer. I'm about to go nuts as it is now!

I think the last time I was sick was about three years ago. I always get a flu shot every year but this year I missed it. I guarantee you I won't forget it next year!

But i sure was sick along with everyone else about a month and a half ago or so here. Major flu season in la. Being sick sucks. Especially when you got so much work to do!

It could be but I haven't been sick in three years.

I usually get a flu shot every year but I forgot to get one this year for some unknown reason.

I guess my luck just ran out.

I'm not ill, but 2 of my kids are. I am the Lysol and handcleaner queen right now. LOL

In our area a private school closed down because most of the kids are ill. In Virginia Beach a public school has shut down, too, because of the flu.

Our school's wrestling team cannot wrestle because most of the wrestlers got ring worms.

Do you do aerobic training regularly and do you workout very consistently? I haven't been sick in years, knock on wood, and I think its because of my workout regimen.

I haven't been sick in over three years. I usually get flu shots every year to be on the safe side.

I didn't take one this year for some unknown reason. Just let it slip by.

Everyone in my family is sick right now except my wife. The schools are missing a lot of students right now because of the flu.

Guess I was just unlucky this year.

I went outside to snow shovel the sidewalk and the driveway. After I finished, I was sweating and became weak. I knew by then that I'd get sick...The question is, will I be able to hit the gym this week since I'm taking a 1 week break next week but I would like to finish up this upcoming week on a high note...
