Is a one inch needle enough?

I bought a set of needles without realizing that they were all one inchers. Is that going to go deep enough? It's going into the muscle, so I would assume it is. Thoughts?

i recently started injecting in shoulderswith 1". up till now always injected strictlyinto glutes with 1.5. since doing more frequent injects using NPP thought best to switch around.

not sure if i like shoulders injects. seems like there is always pain, during, and soreness after. now that i think about it the times i have gotten shots in my shoulder, by a professional such a flu shot in my shoulder, it always hurt.

I dont have any pain when I inject my shoulders, although I have taken it out and repostitioned it a few times if I felt a twang. Interestingly enough, a flu shot from so called professionals usually hurts pretty bad during and after!

maybe flu shots hurt due to BA content?

BTW I need 1.5 for my glute but I'm 240 so if you weight less you be alright. You should be able to tell though.

I dont know, maybe thats it. I got a flu shot at Costco a few weeks back and they shot pretty darn low on the delt and it hurt immediatly which is pretty weird because I can hit my delt and 9 out of 10 times not even feel it penetrate the skin. Most of the nurses that give shots dont even wait for the alcohol wipe to dry so that starts the whole pain thing there. No wonder there are so many guys that come on here scared of needles, hell we've never got a shot a the dr that dident hurt.

Has anyone shot prop into their quads I hear its painful. I just shot prop into my glute last night and wow it hurts to sit down. I want to try quads but I dont want to cripple myself geezus. I have 22 gauge 1.5 and 23 gauge 1 inch needles.

It doesn't matter what shot I get from the doctors they always hurt because those muther fuckers stab you all rough and shit. I use a 1 1/2" everywhere. I am careful and that 1 1/2" needle goes all the way in my glutes, delts and quads.

repeat, if ur low bf, 1" is fine, i use 1" everywhere, including glutes, havent had a problem yet
