S shoichi New member Mar 12, 2003 #52 Would you consider sport bike racing competitors athletes? I don't consider NASCAR drivers athletes, but sport bikes do take skill, strength, stamina, and mental focus. Not saying they are or aren't, just throwing out an idea.
